John
Eric Dove is partner and Vice President of K.R.R. Photography, Ltd.,
a professional photography firm in Annapolis, Maryland.
John has been a member of the K.R.R. Photography, Ltd. staff from
the conception of the business in 1986.
John became a partner and vice president in 1995.
John
uses his eye for photographic composition and custom set design for his
advertising, commercial, portrait, and documentary photography. His images consist of people from all walks of life: working
people, entertainers, celebrities, politicians, athletes, and military
personnel to mention a few.
Many
of John’s images have been published in various forms internationally.
He also holds many awards for International and national
photography competitions, earning him a reputation among clients and
colleagues as a photographic artist. He was an official photographer for
President Clinton's 1993 Inaugural Ball
and for President Bush’s Inaugural Ball in 2001.
He
completed a dramatic series of photographs for "Working
America", K.R.R.
‘s own photographic gallery show that benefited The American Cancer
Society. John studied under the creative photographic influences of Monte Zucker and Clay Blackmore. He has also collaborated with many other world-renowned photographers. John is K.R.R.’s artistic photography director for events that take place all over the United States and abroad. He has spoken around the country on photographic subjects and has worked with many of the industries vendors to produce workshops and seminars to highlight the vendors products. He has authored many articles on photography and co-authored his first book on the subject named “First Chance of Expression.”
Professional Photographers of Greater Annapolis, where
he is the current Program Chair. John also is a memebr of the Annapolis
and Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce where he is the official photographer.
John also sat on the board of directors of The National Academy of Photography.
John’s passion for life can be summed up in his philosophy of photography: “To capture one specific moment in time that will last forever for generations to come, is what I strive for when I photograph someone.
